Summer in Buenos Aires

February 1, 2011

Hola!

Today and Friday, I thought I’d share some of the pictures from our Buenos Aires trip in progress.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

So far we’ve consumed ginormous steaks at La Cabrera. Bounced in a mattress fort in the Marta Minujan exhibit at the MALBA (which is conveniently two blocks from our flat). Watched BC model shorts and purchased Havianas at Alto Palermo. Danced to the beat of the drums at La Bomba de Tiempo. And managed to disrupt our building by not closing the gate door inside the elevator door and therefore putting the elevator out of service for a day — oops.

I need to run. Today we’re going to walk around San Tempo, go for vegetarian in Palermo and then stop by Ocho Siete Ocho (which I call Oko 7 Oko) for a drink. Chau!

I booked yesterday an Eva Peron city tour and it was amazing, I learned a lot about the Argentinean political past. Tomorrow I will take a Maradona tour that looks great too, here I let you a website that it help me a lot during my time in the city (http://bsas4u.com/ ).
